Lead capture that logs, replies and routes on its own

Five web forms (an estimate tool, two calculators, a pricing request and a client intake) feed one system. Every submission is logged to a shared sheet, the person gets a tailored email within seconds, and the owner gets a copy. No paid tools, no manual copying.

How it works

1

Form on the websiteValidates the entry and sends it to one endpoint, tagged by form type.

2

Apps Script web appRoutes each type to its own handler and cleans the input.

3

Google SheetOne tab per form, created automatically with headers.

4

Reply to the personA branded email with their results, a guide or next steps.

5

Alert to the ownerEvery answer in a readable table, ready for follow up.

What I built

  • One endpoint handling estimates, calculator results, pricing requests, client intake, newsletter sign ups and guide downloads
  • Email templates that turn raw answers into a clean summary
  • A gated guide: email in, guide delivered, contact tagged by source
  • Domain email setup: SPF, DKIM and DMARC so replies reach inboxes

A problem I solved

Replies to outside addresses were silently rejected by Gmail. I traced it through the admin email log to the sending method, switched the script from the basic mailer to Gmail sending, added a DMARC record, and confirmed delivery end to end.
